Care that travels the whole state.

Salamat Clinic now sees patients across all of New Jersey by video. Hormone replacement, testosterone therapy, medical weight loss, and longevity consultations — the same physician-led care we practise in Atlantic City, delivered wherever you are.

CH 02
A different kind of virtual care

Not questionnaire medicine.

Most online hormone and weight loss services work like this: you fill in a form, an algorithm scores it, and a clinician you will never speak to again signs a prescription. It is fast. It is not medicine.

New Jersey law is clear on this point — a prescription may not be issued based solely on the responses provided in an online questionnaire. We agree with the law. Every Salamat telehealth patient has a real consultation, with a real physician, working from real laboratory data.

You will speak to Dr. Panah. You will speak to him again at your follow-up. And if telehealth is not the right setting for your problem, we will tell you so and help you find care that is.

Same physician, every visit

Continuity is the quiet ingredient that most online clinics discard first. At Salamat, the physician who reviews your first labs is the physician who calibrates your dose, reads your follow-up panels, and answers when something feels off.

Real labs, first

No hormone, weight loss, or longevity plan begins without comprehensive laboratory data. We order the panel, you draw it near you, we read it together on the video visit — then, and only then, do we discuss therapy.

CH 03
What we treat virtually

Four programmes, delivered by video.

01/

Hormone replacement for women

Perimenopause and menopause care — estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone where indicated. We tailor the route to your physiology: patch, gel, oral, or pellet. Comprehensive labs first, always.

02/

Testosterone replacement for men

Full hormonal panel, metabolic screen, and prostate-safety workup before any therapy begins, with hematocrit and estradiol monitoring built into every follow-up.

03/

Medical weight loss

Physician-led GLP-1 programmes where clinically appropriate, with metabolic labs, dose titration, and muscle-preservation strategy — not a prescription and a wave goodbye.

04/

Longevity & functional consultation

Root-cause review of your labs, medications, and metabolic picture, translated into a plan you can actually follow.

CH 04
How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

01

Book online.

Choose a telehealth slot. No account required to book.

02

Labs before we meet.

We send your order electronically to a laboratory near you — there are patient service centres throughout New Jersey — or arrange a phlebotomist to come to your home. Hormone panels are drawn in the morning for accuracy.

03

Your consultation.

A 30-minute video visit with Dr. Panah, reviewing your results, your history, and your goals. You leave with a written plan.

04

Prescriptions and follow-up.

Prescriptions go to the pharmacy of your choice, so you can use your own insurance benefit where the medication is covered. Follow-up is scheduled before you log off.

CH 05
The advantage of a real clinic

Online when you want it. In person when it matters.

National telehealth companies cannot examine you, cannot scan you, and cannot see you if something goes wrong. We can.

Your telehealth care is anchored to a physical clinic in Atlantic City, which means:

  • An InBody 970 body composition scan whenever you can come in — medical-grade analysis of muscle, fat, and visceral fat that no one can post to you
  • In-person examination when a problem needs hands
  • Pellet insertion, injectables, and procedures under one roof
  • Continuity with a physician who knows your history

Federal rules governing telehealth prescribing of certain medications are expected to require a periodic in-person visit. We are built for that. Most online-only services are not.

CH 06
Honest limits

When telehealth is not the right answer.

We hold virtual visits to the same standard of care as in-person ones. Some things need a room.

  • Anything requiring a physical examination to diagnose safely
  • Chest pain, shortness of breath, or any emergency — call 911
  • Certain medications that require in-person evaluation under federal law
  • Complex problems better served by a specialist

If your situation falls into one of these, we will say so and direct you appropriately. Telehealth is a setting, not a shortcut.

Frequently asked

Telehealth questions.

Do you offer telehealth hormone therapy in New Jersey?

Yes. Salamat Clinic provides physician-led hormone replacement therapy and testosterone replacement therapy by video to patients throughout New Jersey, calibrated from comprehensive laboratory work. Dr. Abdullah Panah is licensed in New Jersey and personally conducts every consultation.

Can I get testosterone or hormone therapy prescribed online?

A prescription is only ever issued when it is clinically appropriate, after a consultation and a review of your laboratory results. We do not prescribe from a questionnaire, and New Jersey law does not permit it. Some medications carry additional federal requirements, which we will explain during your visit.

How do I get my labs done if I never come to the clinic?

We send your order electronically to a national laboratory with patient service centres across New Jersey, so you can walk into one near you. For patients who prefer it, we can arrange a phlebotomist to visit your home for an additional fee.

Do you take insurance for telehealth visits?

Please contact the clinic for our current telehealth insurance policy. Many hormone medications are inexpensive and covered under standard pharmacy benefits, so your prescription can often be filled through your own pharmacy insurance even when the visit itself is self-pay.

Where do my prescriptions go?

To whichever pharmacy you choose. Many hormone medications are inexpensive and covered under standard pharmacy benefits, so you can use your own insurance for the medication even when the visit is self-pay.

How long is a telehealth visit?

Initial consultations are 30 minutes with Dr. Panah. Follow-ups are typically 15 to 20 minutes.

What if I need to be seen in person?

Our clinic is at 6 N Mississippi Avenue, Atlantic City. Telehealth patients are welcome to come in for body composition scanning, examination, procedures, or any visit where being in the room matters.
