Thyroid disease, anemia, and low vitamin D or B12 can produce or worsen anxiety. Each is treatable on its own terms, so we check.
Yes. Caffeine, stimulants and alcohol can all drive anxiety, including the rebound anxiety that follows drinking. We ask about them plainly and without judgment.
Poor sleep from sleep apnea can worsen anxiety. We screen for it and can arrange a home sleep test when indicated.
