Peptide therapy, done properly.

Physician-supervised peptide therapy in Atlantic City, New Jersey — using tesamorelin, BPC-157, semaglutide, tirzepatide and other evidence-based molecules. Only when clinically appropriate. Always guided by labs. Never as a shortcut around the basics.

Why peptides work

Tune the signal. Don't override it.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same signalling language your body already uses to regulate growth, repair, metabolism, inflammation, and hormone release. The reason they tend to work so well is that they are designed to modulate and improve your body's own efficiency, not bulldoze it.

Introducing extra medication or supraphysiologic hormones can occasionally disrupt the body's native signalling — feedback loops shut down, dosing has to climb, side effects pile up. Well-chosen peptides take a different approach: they ask the system to do its own job better, and then get out of the way.

That is also why peptides are not a magic bullet. They work best on top of sleep, nutrition, training, hormones, and gut health that are already being addressed — which is exactly how we use them at Salamat.

CH 03
The peptides we use

Molecules with real science behind them.

We have direct clinical experience with tesamorelin, BPC-157, semaglutide, tirzepatide, and many others. The right peptide — and whether a peptide is even the right tool — depends entirely on your labs, your goals, and your medical history.

Tesamorelin

Growth hormone–releasing peptide

An FDA-approved growth hormone-releasing hormone analog originally developed for visceral fat reduction. Used in select longevity and body composition protocols to support lean mass, recovery, and metabolic health — always after appropriate screening.

BPC-157

Repair, recovery & gut lining support

A short peptide derived from a protein in gastric juice with a growing body of preclinical research around soft-tissue repair, tendon and ligament healing, and gut-barrier integrity. Used in carefully selected recovery and gut-health protocols.

Semaglutide

GLP-1 for metabolic & weight loss support

A GLP-1 receptor agonist with extensive published evidence for weight loss, glycemic control, and cardiovascular risk reduction. We prescribe semaglutide as part of a medically supervised weight loss programme — not as a standalone fix.

Tirzepatide

Dual GIP / GLP-1 for advanced metabolic care

A dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist with strong evidence for weight loss and metabolic improvement. Reserved for patients who clinically qualify, supported with InBody 970 body composition tracking and lab follow-up.

And more

Other peptides, on a case-by-case basis

We work with a broader peptide formulary — growth hormone secretagogues, healing peptides, and metabolic support peptides — but only where the evidence, the patient's labs, and the clinical goal line up. If a peptide is trendy but not appropriate for you, we will tell you.

Guided by labs

Every protocol, tracked

Comprehensive labs before starting, follow-up labs on protocol, and InBody 970 body composition where relevant. If the numbers and how you feel aren't both moving in the right direction, the plan changes. Peptides are a tool in the kit — not the kit.

How we prescribe

Only when clinically appropriate.

Peptide therapy at Salamat starts with extensive lab testing — metabolic, inflammatory, hormonal, and aging biomarkers — interpreted through an optimisation lens, not just "normal range."

From there we build a plan with as much published science as possible behind the indication, sourced through licensed US pharmacies, and dosed conservatively. Most peptides are self-administered as small subcutaneous injections after a brief in-clinic teaching visit.

We re-check labs on protocol and track clinical results visit by visit. If a molecule isn't earning its place in your plan, we taper it. The goal is minimum medication, maximum quality of life — peptides included.

CH 05
Frequently asked

Peptide therapy questions.

What is peptide therapy?

Peptide therapy uses short chains of amino acids — the same signalling language your body already uses — to help regulate hormones, repair tissue, support metabolism, and improve recovery. Because peptides modulate your body's own pathways rather than override them, they tend to produce smoother, more physiologic effects than traditional medications when used appropriately.

Is peptide therapy safe?

At Salamat Clinic in Atlantic City, NJ, peptides are prescribed only when clinically appropriate, only after comprehensive lab testing, and only with as much published science behind the indication as possible. Every protocol is supervised by a board-certified physician and tracked against follow-up labs and clinical results.

Which peptides do you offer?

We have direct clinical experience with tesamorelin, BPC-157, semaglutide, tirzepatide, and many others. The right peptide — and whether a peptide is even the right tool — depends entirely on your labs, your goals, and your medical history.

How is peptide therapy administered?

Most therapeutic peptides are given as small subcutaneous injections that patients self-administer at home after a short in-clinic teaching visit. A few are available as oral capsules, nasal sprays, or topical formulations depending on the molecule and the goal.

How much does peptide therapy cost?

Cost depends on the specific peptide, the dose, and the duration of the protocol. Most peptides are not covered by insurance and are billed as a cash service. We review pricing transparently during your consultation so you can decide whether the expected benefit is worth the investment.
